The 3rd and Final ASEAN Plan of Action on Science, Technology, and Innovation (APASTI) 2026-2035 Drafting Workshop successfully took place in Bangkok, Thailand on 7 May 2025. Organized by Ernst & Young (EY) Australia and supported by the Government of Australia through the Aus4ASEAN Futures Initiative, this workshop brought together delegates from ASEAN Member States (AMS) and Timor Leste.
The objective of this workshop is to gather comprehensive input for drafting the APASTI 2026-2035. It will focus on aligning the vision, goals, and objectives of the plan to ensure a strategic and coordinated approach to ASEAN’s science, technology, and innovation (STI) agenda. The final draft of APASTI 2026-2035 will be launched during the 21st ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Science, Technology and Innovation (AMMSTI-21) on 20 June 2025 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
