The 85th ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology, and Innovation (COSTI-85) and Related Meetings were held on 3-6 June 2024, in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This year, the Meeting was hosted by Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) Cambodia.
In total, there were 5 meetings conducted throughout the week including COSTI-85; the 16th Board of Advisers to COSTI (BAC-16) Meeting; the 60th Meeting of Subcommittee on S&T Infrastructure and Resource Development (SCIRD-60), the 13th Meeting of ASEAN-Japan Cooperation Committee on S&T (AJCCST-13), and the 6th Meeting of the ASEAN-ROK Joint Science, Technology and Innovation Committee (AKJSTIC-6).
The Meeting served as a pivotal opportunity to strengthen, leverage, and succeed strategies for science, technology, and innovation within AMS and with dialogue partners. Among the planned discussions is an exchange of opinions on initiatives and cooperation strategies in the future.
