The ASEAN–Pakistan Technology Expo 2025 was successfully held at the National University of Sciences & Technology, in Islamabad, Pakistan on 22-24 April 2025. Organised by the National Centre of Robotics & Automation (NCRA) and ASEAN Sub-Committee on Microelectronics and Information Technology (SCMIT), the event brought together delegates from ASEAN Member States and over 600 participants from across Pakistan. The event was officiated by the Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, Prof. Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhry.
The workshop also brought experts from both regions to share their expertise on various technologies, including Robotics and Automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Geographic Information Systems and Space Applications, Cybersecurity, Digital Infrastructure, Big Data, and Cloud Computing. The major highlight was the technology exhibition and visit to the Pakistan National Science and Technology Park (NSTP), where all national centres of excellence and 35+ innovative tech companies showcased breakthrough solutions in emerging technologies.
