The First Drafting Workshop for ASEAN Plan of Action on Science, Technology, and Innovation (APASTI) 2026-2035 took place on 5 March 2025 in Jakarta. This workshop was facilitated by Ernst & Young (EY) and supported by Aus4ASEAN Futures.
The workshop aims to gather comprehensive input for drafting APASTI 2026-2035, a plan that will guide ASEAN Member States (AMS) for insightful discussions and strategic planning in advancing STI cooperation over the next decade.
With a successful and productive outcome, this workshop marks the first of three key sessions that will directly contribute to the development of APASTI 2026-2035. The second one will be held virtually on 9-10 April and the third one will be on 7 May in Bangkok.
