The 12th Meeting of the ASEAN Experts Group on Metrology (EGM) was held virtually on 6 February 2025. The Meeting was chaired by Dr. Ghufron Zaid, Director of Standard for Thermoelectric and Chemical Units of Measurement and co-chaired by Mr. Kong Pagnarith, Director of the Department of Scientific Metrology at the National Metrology Center Cambodia.
The Meeting discussed the progress and the future plans for EGM activities, including EGM projects and work plan, the implementation of APASTI 2016-2025, and preparation of APASTI 2026-2035. Discussions also include highlights of meeting outcomes, updates on ASEAN National Metrology Institutes (NMIs), and partnership with the ASEAN Consultative Committee on Standards and Quality (ACCSQ).
