The launch of the STIC Talent Mobility Portal/ASEAN Online Education Platform for Industry 4.0.

The ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology, and Innovation (COSTI), in partnership with the U.S. Department of State – Bureau of East Asia and Pacific Affairs (EAP) and Arizona State University (ASU), proudly announce the launch of the STIC Talent Mobility Portal/ASEAN Online Education Platform for Industry 4.0. This initiative, a key component of Laos PDR’s Priority Economic Deliverable for 2024, offers a groundbreaking learning portal with access to a vast array of upskilling and reskilling courses designed by leading universities in the United States.

Participants who successfully complete the online courses in the Science and Technology (S&T) or Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I) tracks will not only gain invaluable knowledge but also become eligible to apply for seed funding and attend our prestigious annual conference, set to take place in Lao PDR in July 2024. STIC will handpick 35 outstanding candidates each from the S&T and E&I tracks to showcase their innovative ideas at this conference. All selected participants will enjoy fully funded travel arrangements, courtesy of the program!

The STIC Program has a total funding pool of USD 100,000 each year to support groundbreaking ideas. Eight exceptional winners will be competitively selected at the conference to receive an award of USD 12,500 to bring their visionary projects to life.
