The ASEAN NEXT 2025 was successfully held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on 3-4 December 2025. Hosted by Cambodia, this annual forum united ASEAN Member States and Dialogue Partners to harness the power of infrastructure, technology, and innovation for manufacturing success. Further, this inaugural forum gathered policymakers, researchers, and experts from ASEAN Member States and China to advance regional cooperation in infrastructure, technology, and innovation as key drivers of manufacturing competitiveness.
The ASEAN NEXT 2025 reflected ASEAN’s continued commitment to strengthening industrial resilience and competitiveness through partnership, innovation, and sustained investment in strategic infrastructure, in line with the ASEAN Plan of Action on Science, Technology and Innovation (APASTI) 2026–2035.
