In conjunction with the 87th ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology, and Innovation (COSTI-87) and Related Meetings, which were held on 16-19 June 2025, in Jakarta, Indonesia, four side events were conducted: Research Collaboration Special Session, US-ASEAN Business Council Innovation Gala Dinner, ASEAN-EU Research & Innovation Showcase and Networking Event and the ASEAN-Partners Networking Session.
These side events served as valuable platforms to enhance, optimise and advance strategies in science, technology, and innovation among ASEAN Member States and dialogue partners. Key discussions included the exchange of views on future initiatives and collaborative approaches to strengthen regional innovation ecosystems.
