The 62nd Meeting of the ASEAN Sub-Committee on S&T Infrastructure and Resources Development (SCIRD-62) was held on 16 June 2025 hosted by Indonesia. Chaired by Ms. Maridon O. Sahagun from SCIRD Philippines, the Meeting marked an important step in the transition toward the ASEAN Plan of Action on Science, Technology, and Innovation (APASTI) 2026–2035.
Representatives from all ASEAN Member States and observer from Timor-Leste participated in the meeting, which emphasized the importance of continuity, collaboration, and impactful regional initiatives to address shared challenges in the ASEAN science and technology landscape.
