The 2nd ASEAN Startup Policy Roundtable, themed “Beyond the Hype: Empowering AI-Driven ASEAN Startups”, was held on 28 April 2025 at the ERIA Digital Innovation and Sustainable Economy Centre (E-DISC) in Jakarta, Indonesia. The programme, endorsed by the ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation (COSTI), aims to generate practical recommendations and strategies that will shape a more inclusive, resilient, and innovative start-up ecosystem in ASEAN. The session was attended by representatives from all 10 ASEAN Member States. On the second day, delegates were also invited to join the Jakarta Startup Ecosystem Site Visit, where they visited key organizations to offer insights into AI innovation and adoption.
