The ASEAN-India Startup Festival (AISF) 2024, held from November 28 to 30 in New Delhi, India, served as a vibrant showcase for the dynamic startup ecosystems of ASEAN Member States and India. Hosted by the Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIC) at IIT Kanpur, in partnership with the Department of Science & Technology (DST), the three-day event brought together nearly 100 startups, fostering innovation, collaboration, and sustainable development within the region.
Highlights of this year’s event included panel discussions, startup success stories, leaders’ dialogues, pitch competition, and industry visits, offering a comprehensive experience for attendees.
Satvinder Singh, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN, underscored the festival’s significance as a testament to the shared vision of ASEAN and India for a future rooted in inclusivity and sustainability. He emphasised that AISF 2024 exemplifies the growing capacity of both regions to collaboratively address regional challenges through innovation, setting the stage for a more resilient and interconnected future.
