The 11th Meeting of ASEAN-Russia Working Group on Science, Technology, and Innovation (ARWGSTI-11) was held virtually on 18 November 2024. The Meeting was co-chaired by Ms. Olga Molovtseva from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and Dr. Hul Seingheng cum ASEAN COSTI Co-Chair, from the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) Cambodia.
The Meeting reviewed ASEAN-Russia STI cooperation, including the implementation of the ASEAN-Russian Federation Plan of Action on Science, Technology, and Innovation (ARPASTI) 2016-2025 and drafting plans for ARPASTI 2026-2035. Discussions also explored strategic funding opportunities, emphasizing applied science and commercialization.
The next meeting is set for October 2025 in Thailand, alongside COSTI-88.
