The 11th Meeting of ASEAN Expert Group on Metrology (EGM-11) was held on 6-7 August 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. The meeting was hosted by the National Institute of Metrology, Thailand (NIMT), under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), Thailand. The Meeting served as a platform where EGM Members share latest updates on projects and workplans to enhance the metrology field in ASEAN.
The 2-day Meeting also discussed various cooperation within the EGM community of respective ASEAN Member States (AMS). Furthermore, it provided the opportunity for EGM members to visit NIMT laboratories to understand the latest technologies adopted in the country and encourage potential cooperation with other ASEAN Member States in the field of metrology.
