Bangkok, 24 August 2023 – ASEAN-Japan Innovation Week (AJIW) 2023 was successfully held in Bangkok, Thailand from 21 to 24 August 2023 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan relations. The theme chosen for AJIW 2023 on Innovative Technologies in Achieving Carbon Neutrality Towards ASEAN Green Economy resonates deeply with ASEAN agenda.
Upholding the ethos of mutual learning for the benefit of the region, the event also brought together 200 participants including representatives from the Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation (COSTI), researchers, professionals, corporate entities, as well as entrepreneurs and startups from both the ASEAN region and Japan. A total of 9 satellite events were organized throughout the week. From dialogues to pitch clinics and competition, AJIW 2023 ignited sparks for innovation towards achieving carbon neutrality.
